If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music.
I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music.

"A composer is a guy who goes around forcing his will on unsuspecting air molecules, often with the assistance of unsuspecting muscians"
~FRANK ZAPPA

"The Knave Of Keys" by TbORK
"Is the fate of our race, devastated by introspection and anaemia, namely to reproduce in words, of showing its nights and ingigantirne the worker's flasks or the triumph. Before the man and woman are opening two roads: cruelty or indifference. Everything suggests that they will take the second, that there will be neither explanation nor rupture, but that will continue to move from one other… we love forever… despite everything, and this "despite everything," covers a infinity. "
~E. M. Cioran "syllogisms of bitterness"

The Paradox Of Our Age

We have bigger houses but smaller families;
more conveniences, but less time.
We have more degrees but less sense;
more knowledge but less judgment;
more experts, but more problems;
more medicines but less healthiness.
We've been all the way to the moon and back,
but have trouble in crossing the street to meet our new neighbour.
We built more computers to hold more copies than ever,
But have less real communication;
We have become long on quantity,
but short on quality.
These are times of fast foods but slow digestion;
Tall mean but short characters;
Steep profits but shallow relationships.
It's a time when there is much in the window
But nothing in the room.

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.

William S. Burroughs:
Nothing exists until or unless it is observed. An artist is making something exist by observing it. And his hope for other people is that they will also make it exist by observing it. I call it "creative observation." Creative viewing.

As evidenced by pale, anemic-looking sensitive singer-songwriters, Acoustic Guitars certainly cause
SOME kind of wasting disease. Have you seen DONOVAN or JAMES TAYLOR recently ?
